Hey, did you guys know that we are paying nearly 90k per detainee per year at the Everglades Detention Camp? How many of y’all make 90k a year? In 2023, a family of four needed to bring in 67k to be considered “middle class” in Florida. So, we are putting 32 detainees per cell with 3 toilet/sink combos, barely providing food and water and it costs us 90k per person per year to do that. Cool story.
