Curiosity and living free
I wonder what it is to be
The mystery of a universe
And what it means to rhyme in verse
If merry wonderment is joy
Then is curiosity, a toy?
What is the meaning of life?
What’s the point of all this strife?
What’s beyond the stars
And yes, what’s up with planet Mars?
What makes nature tick
And what rocks can a geologist lick?
Fibonacci spirals throughout
But credit scores define my route?
Nature living in harmony
Except for us, with our money?
Curiosity is a self-given gift
And if you ever get a whiff
Just remember
And never forget:
Gifts are given, not bought
And what counts is the thought
So today I found, I think
The secret, the missing link
Curiosity is always the way
Like when small children play
It’s the purest form of love
Some say, a message from above
So when my curiosity takes hold
I don’t mend to the mold
And I will never apologize
When the sneaking questions arise
Because the truth doesn’t care
It’s all that exists when laid bare
Through walls Superman can see
Our superpower to be free
Is to ask “why why why?”
Until we see through every lie. ❤️
