Imagine you have a party and as your guests arrive, they all begin to move and demolish many of your belongings, kill your houseplants, spray chemicals on your pets, hoping it kills them, all because they don’t like your home or anything in it. That could be pretty upsetting, right? Well now, they’re throwing their trash on the floor, creating huge piles all over your house. They are breaking down walls because they don’t like how your house is laid out. Only they don’t check what is load-bearing and your house begins to slowly cave in. You’re freaking out, because you have no where else to go, and your home is being destroyed. “Why are they doing this to me and my home?” You wonder. Now imagine, all the guests ridiculed you for being upset. “Who cares? This plant is ugly and your dog annoys me. Stop being such a baby about everything, you home hugger. People who love their home like you are weird!!” This is happening NOW. Our home is being destroyed and we don’t have another to replace it. There is nothing wrong with loving and protecting your home, but everything wrong with destroying it. #sigh #earthIsHome
