The Voter Paradox:
Poorly educated citizens voting for or against issues they don’t fully understand ensures future generations to be poorly educated and do the same. Everyone should vote, but everyone should have the education to understand what they’re voting for. Propaganda, political ads and smear campaigns are many voter’s source of “knowledge”.
Let’s eliminate political campaigns. Let’s broadcast well-moderated debates to all citizens to make informed civic decisions unencumbered by emotion. Political campaigns breed corruption and gatekeep qualified citizens from elected positions. No fundraising, no ads, no smear campaigns. None of these are beneficial to citizens.
