When I enter the forest, I leave my humanly concerns behind. I intentionally leave the sterile and lonely humans-only community to immerse myself in universal LIFE.
It’s my lifelong favorite form of meditation - to stop and smell the flowers and the pine needles, admire ants building, gators eating, bunnies hopping, water flowing and reflecting light, notice how the ground feels, watch different plants change throughout the seasons, the interesting form trees grow, the way dead trees become homes or food for others…
I am often overwhelmed with the symbiotic web of life, but this web has no weaver. It just is. Every time I leave the forest, I am left with this reminder of isness and a fullness that can’t be expressed with my vocabulary. ❤️ 🌍 ☮️
